After the meeting on Thursday 26th June it was decided to mix up the groups in the league. We have decided to move riders around to ensure all groups have an equal amount of strength and riders. This will hopefully allow riders to race more competitively and where possible get places.
The groups have been mixed up according to ability not open license category.

THURSDAY LEAGUE – CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
The finish of the Thursday League Club Championship race has been changed.
Sign on will take place at Brittas at 7.00pm. All groups will then make their way to just beyond Blessington. There is an Industrial Estate on the far side of Blessington were all groups and lead cars will gather. The race will begin at approx 7.20pm.
The route will include one climb over Pholaphouca and turn right at the bottom of the climb to take in the back of the lakes like previous years. Once riders make the approach towards Manor Kilbride the race will take a right turn up towards Ballysmutten Bridge. The right turn is just before the decent that will bring you home towards the finish on the “Little Lakes” circuit. There is a signpost for Liffey Valley and Sally Gap at the left turn.
The road climbs, descends (this is quiet a narrow descent) and climbs again over a 1.6mile section. This year the finish will be a hill top finish.
